Description
The AnMBR process is divided into two stages: anaerobic digestion and membrane separation. Among them, the anaerobic digestion stage is the same as the traditional anaerobic treatment process. The main difference between the membrane separation stage and aerobic membrane bioreactor is that aeration is not used to sweep the membrane surface. According to the placement position of the membrane module, it can be divided into separate type and submerged type. In AnMBR, the main factor that affects the membrane separation effect and stable operation is membrane fouling. The main factors that cause membrane fouling are water inlet conditions, operating conditions, Membrane materials, sludge characteristics, microbial metabolites, and reactor configuration, etc.
